Vantrunk, in partnership with Eutex International, have successfully completed supply of our SW6 Speedway Cable Ladder System and Heavy Duty HR Cable Tray system for the OSX-3 FPSO turret mooring system being supplied by SOFEC. The OSX-3 FPSO will be utilized within block BM-C-39 of the Campos Basin, offshore Brazil, on the Tubarão Martelo field. The Speedway Cable Ladder system features fully slotted sidewalls, a unique profile design and integral coupler, all of which help save weight and speed up installation.

Allowing engineers to calculate the setting gap between lengths subject to expansion and contraction, the calculators are an ideal tool for engineers when installing the Vantrunk Cable Management system. CABLE TRAY INTEGRAL FEATURES:
Allowances must be made on cable and support systems installed on FPSO (Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) and Floating Liquid Natural Gas (FLNG) vessels due to the structural flexing movement over the length of the deck. To cater for the flexing, gaps must be left in the Ladder / Tray support system and cable looping should occur to allow for these expansion and contraction movements.
Vantrunk Extreme Cable Management Systems have provided solutions to help ensure the cables are not compromised once installed.
Solutions such as the use of cable drop outs will prevent the cable outer sheaths chaffing on the cable rung whilst the use of protective end caps will stop damage to the cable by preventing the outer sheath chaffing on the side wall of the cable ladder rack.
